Frequently Asked Questions

  • We send invoices via Square, which provides a secure online payment portal. Invoices can be paid using credit/debit cards or ACH bank transfers. We do not accept cash or checks.

  • If we are unable to design a concept you’re happy with and the project does not move into development, any initial payment will be refunded. Once development begins, payments are non-refundable, as time and labor have already been invested. Any exceptions are handled at our discretion.

  • Invoices include a 7-day grace period. After that, a $25 late fee is applied. Repeated non-payment or lack of communication may result in suspension or cancellation of services, at which point the client becomes responsible for the remaining balance outlined in the agreement. We’re always happy to work with clients who communicate early if issues arise.

  • The $100 per additional page fee is a one-time charge, not a recurring monthly fee. For example, three additional pages would be a $300 one-time cost.

  • A custom-coded website is hand-built from scratch — no templates, maximum performance and flexibility, and no ongoing platform fees. A platform redesign works within a site builder you already use, like Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy, to make it look and perform like it was professionally built, without switching platforms.

  • Yes — that's exactly what the "Your Platform, Built Right" service is for. I'll work inside your existing platform rather than rebuilding from scratch, so you keep using the builder you're already comfortable with.

  • Yes. Every website — whether custom-coded or a platform redesign — can add a monthly Care Plan for hosting, edits, and maintenance, or use hourly support for one-off requests. Nothing is required at purchase.

  • Most websites are completed within 4-8 weeks. Timelines depend on client responsiveness, content delivery, and current project volume.

  • For custom builds, no. We create custom-coded websites using modern development tools and best practices to deliver fast, secure, and flexible results. If you'd rather stay on a platform like Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy, our platform redesign service works within that instead.

  • Custom-coded websites are faster, more secure, and easier to maintain long-term. Without databases or plugins to update or exploit, there’s less bloat, fewer vulnerabilities, and better overall performance.

  • We include foundational on-page SEO such as fast load times, accessibility best practices, metadata, sitemap generation, and Google Search Console setup. Off-page SEO services are not included unless explicitly added.

  • Yes, through Shopify. We set up a fully configured Shopify store — theme, products, payments, and shipping — ready to sell from day one. See Shopify Store Setup for details.

  • Edit requests can be submitted by emailing alpinewebdesignllc@gmail.com. We review requests promptly and prioritize them according to your plan.

  • Yes. You always own your domain. If we purchase it on your behalf, it is transferred to you upon cancellation or request.
