Frequently Asked Questions

  • We send invoices via Square, which provides a secure online payment portal. Invoices can be paid using credit/debit cards or ACH bank transfers. We do not accept cash or checks.

  • If we are unable to design a concept you’re happy with and the project does not move into development, any initial payment will be refunded. Once development begins, payments are non-refundable, as time and labor have already been invested. Any exceptions are handled at our discretion.

  • Invoices include a 7-day grace period. After that, a $25 late fee is applied. Repeated non-payment or lack of communication may result in suspension or cancellation of services, at which point the client becomes responsible for the remaining balance outlined in the agreement. We’re always happy to work with clients who communicate early if issues arise.

  • The $100 per additional page fee is a one-time charge, not a recurring monthly fee. For example, three additional pages would be a $300 one-time cost.

  • The Fully Managed plan includes a 12-month minimum term. If canceled before that term is complete, a website buyout is required. The buyout amount equals the one-time Self-Managed build price outlined in your Statement of Work. Monthly payments already made are not credited toward the buyout, as they cover hosting, maintenance, support, and service during the active plan period.

  • The difference is how your website is paid for and supported after launch. The Fully Managed plan spreads the cost into monthly payments and includes hosting, updates, security, and ongoing support. The Self-Managed plan is a one-time investment. After launch, you manage hosting and future updates independently unless you add support separately.

  • The Fully Managed plan includes a 12-month minimum term. After that, it continues month-to-month until canceled. If canceled, the website remains active only if a buyout is completed.

  • Yes. After the initial 12-month term, the Fully Managed plan continues on a month-to-month basis. Many clients choose to remain on the plan for continued hosting, maintenance, and support.

  • Yes. You can complete a buyout at any time. The buyout amount equals the one-time Self-Managed build price outlined in your agreement. Monthly plan payments are not credited toward the buyout, as they cover active service and maintenance.

  • You’re always welcome back. Restarting service requires signing a new 12-month subscription agreement. Depending on timing and requirements, the site may be reused or rebuilt as needed.

  • Yes. Self-Managed clients can add a monthly support plan that includes ongoing edits and maintenance. Support plans are billed month-to-month and can be activated at any time.

  • Most websites are completed within 3–6 weeks. Timelines depend on client responsiveness, content delivery, and current project volume.

  • No. We do not build websites using WordPress or drag-and-drop page builders. Instead, we create custom-coded websites using modern development tools and best practices to deliver fast, secure, and flexible results.

  • Custom-coded websites are faster, more secure, and easier to maintain long-term. Without databases or plugins to update or exploit, there’s less bloat, fewer vulnerabilities, and better overall performance.

  • We include foundational on-page SEO such as fast load times, accessibility best practices, metadata, sitemap generation, and Google Search Console setup. Off-page SEO services are not included unless explicitly added.

  • Edit requests can be submitted by emailing alpinewebdesignllc@gmail.com. We review requests promptly and prioritize them according to your plan.

  • If you cancel the Fully Managed plan without completing a buyout, the website is taken offline. You always retain ownership of your domain name and any assets you provided.

  • Yes. You always own your domain. If we purchase it on your behalf, it is transferred to you upon cancellation or request.
